Mom’s Candy Coated Pecans

Thanks to you two for adding your special oomph to our gathering; it was really special as always.  Love my socks!

Les had a fever when I got home yesterday but seems to be feeling a bit better today.  I’m saving his goodies and the video until he’s back up to par.
Here’s your CANDY COATED PECAN recipe:
4 cups pecan halves
1 egg white
1 teaspoon water
    Beat egg white and water until frothy.  Pour over and coat the pecans.
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
     Mix together and coat the pecans.
     Pour into buttered 9 x 13″ glass or metal pan and bake at 325 for 35 – 45
minutes – stirring every 15 mins.  Be sure to stir bottom layer or it’ll stick to the pan and become solid “concrete.”
